  • The Soumaya Museum. It is a museum founded in 1994 and has three venues: Plaza Carso, Plaza Loreto and Casa Guillermo Tovar de Teresa.

  • Plaza Loreto. It has permanent exhibitions in rooms three and four, such as: “Calendario Mexicanos”. Which represents themes such as Mexican Greatness, Family Celebration, the homeland, national folklore and the Bullfighting Festival, among others.

Location: Revolution Avenue and Magdalena River, Axis 10 South - Tizapán San Ángel.

Schedule: wedneday to monday from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m and saturdays until 8:00 p.m.

  • Guillermo Tovar de Teresa House. It exhibits the collection of the chronicler and historian Guillermo Tovar y de Teresa. The museum will take you on a historical journey to the past, present and future of Mexico.

Location: Valladolid 52, Roma Norte.

Schedule: every day from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

  • Museo del Estanquillo. This museum displays a wonderful, totally Mexican collection made by Carlos Monsiváis who gathered more than 20 thousand pieces. In this museum you can see different sections of photography, toys, plastic, manifestos, posters, historical documents, scores, cinema and more. All of the above represents the history of Mexico and its society, including politics, economics and daily life.

Location: Calle Isabel la Católica 26, Colonia centro, Alcaldía Cuauhtémoc.

Schedule: Wednesday to Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

  • Museo Nacional de la Acuarela. It offers a historical tour of watercolor in Mexico and the world. The museum offers weekend workshops, classes, specialized workshops, courses and inclusive activities. This museum is full of fascinating activities that you can't miss.

Location: Salvador Novo No. 88 Col. Barrio de Santa Catarina, Coyoacán.

Schedule: Monday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

  • Museum of the Railways. You can learn about the history of the people who worked on the railways, the strikes and the struggles they faced, all through books, documents, plans and video recordings. In addition, you will learn about the most representative heroes, prisoners and dead. The museum also offers conferences, concerts, plays, workshops, dance performances, films and guided tours.

Location: Entrance on Cuauhtémoc, Aquiles Serdán, Aragón La Villa (Aragón).

  • Museum archive of photography. The museum has three exhibition halls and a multipurpose room. The museum displays more than two million images that represent the development and changes that Mexico City has experienced for almost a century. The museum also hosts activities such as exhibitions, workshops, conferences, screenings, concerts and other activities.

Location: Republica de Guatemala 34, historic center.

  • National Museum of World Cultures. In this museum you can find a representation of the cultures that exist in the world from its past and the present time. This museum is located in a building from the colonial era where coins were made. The activities to enjoy are cinema, digital culture, courses and workshops, dance, exhibitions, literature, music, theater, among many other activities that represent different countries of the world.

  • Museum of Mexican Medicine. It exhibits the history of Mexican medicine.
