VIVE LATINO

Everything is ready for the 19th edition of Vive Latino, The Great Festival of Ibero-American Music
-

Throughout its almost two decades of existence, the Vive Latino Ibero-American Festival of Musical Culture, better known as Vive Latino, has established itself as one of the main musical showcases in all of Latin America. A great musical event that in its 19th edition maintains the quality of previous years, giving special importance to the different, more alternative musical genres.

The best rock in Spanish, the most established musical groups and the emerging bands with less commercial diffusion come together in an event that has written a page in the history of the great Latin American music festivals with its own name. This is the Vive Latino Ibero-American Festival of Musical Culture or Vive Latino, which this year reaches its nineteenth edition, focusing once again on Latin American musicians as the main protagonists, but also featuring the participation of soloists and groups from different parts of the world.

Because Vive Rock is that, a universal festival, just like music itself, where the sounds, lyrics and sensations it produces have no barriers. The most important rock festival in Latin America, where the most important musicians in the region offer their talent every year to more than 70,000 spectators every day.

As in previous editions, it will be held in the great Foro Sol in Mexico City, specifically in Ciudad Deportiva Magdalena Mixhuca, easily accessible and prepared for mass events like this, on March 17 and 18.

Held since 1998, with only two exceptions in 1999 and 2002 and organized by OCESA, Vive Latino has incorporated since 2009 the so-called Carpa Intolerante, which is a space to discover and promote lesser-known bands, especially those with a more underground or alternative character. A space where jazz, progressive rock, sound experiments will be played... and which will once again demonstrate the great musical potential of Latin America. And not only that, since at Vive Latino there will be displays of urban art, graffiti, stage proposals, emerging artistic expressions... and you can enjoy the CHOPO cultural market space as one of the emblematic elements of the atmosphere surrounding the festival.
