Celebrating the Death | Celebrando la Eternidad: Get ready to feel like a soul on the Day of the Dead. Among Cempasuchitl flowers, cemeteries, and altars, you will walk through the Chapultepec Forest on a journey to the realm of death. On this tour, special effects and new projection technologies will create such an special atmosphere that you’ll enjoy nothing but the majesty of this celebration. Catrinas Parade | Mega Procesión de Catrinas Another annual tradition is the Catrinas Mega-Procession. In a nutshell, it is a parade where people wear a personalized Catrina-costume and walk through Reforma Avenue accompanied by traditional music. This is taking place on October 26th at 6 .m. If you want to parade with them, don’t hesitate. Just look for some Catrina make-up ideas, a gorgeous Mexican dress and you’re ready to go.

International Day-of-the-Dead Parade | Desfile Internacional del Día de Muertos. The Day of the Dead Parade will take place on October 27th between Polanco, Zócalo and Chapultepec and the Great Day of the Dead Parade will take place on November 2nd from Reforma Avenue to the Zócalo. These traditional parades are made up of floats, dozens of troupes and marching bands.

Finally, to conclude these events full of tradition in honor of the deceased, a spectacular Day of the Dead Closing Ceremony is held on November 17 at the Zócalo. This is an opportunity to close the various activities that were carried out in October and November.
