Next October 19th you can meet them and take all the photos you want at a parade from Reforma Avenue to Main Square.

Day of the Death Opening | Arranque de las festividades del Día de Muertos Are you in the mood of a Mexican party? Well, come this October 24th to the Revolution Monument. There will be many surprises as part of the Day of the Dead festival. Food, culture and music, all in one place.

Catrinas Parade | Mega Procesión de Catrinas Another annual tradition is the Catrinas Mega-Procession. In a nutshell, it is a parade where people wear a personalized Catrina-costume and walk through Reforma Avenue accompanied by traditional music. This is taking place on October 26th at 6 .m. If you want to parade with them, don’t hesitate. Just look for some Catrina make-up ideas, a gorgeous Mexican dress and you’re ready to go.

International Day-of-the-Dead Parade | Desfile Internacional del Día de Muertos. The Day of the Dead Parade will take place on October 27th between Polanco, Zócalo and Chapultepec and the Great Day of the Dead Parade will take place on November 2nd from Reforma Avenue to the Zócalo. These traditional parades are made up of floats, dozens of troupes and marching bands.

Finally, to conclude these events full of tradition in honor of the deceased, a spectacular Day of the Dead Closing Ceremony is held on November 17 at the Zócalo. This is an opportunity to close the various activities that were carried out in October and November.
